Budrich Industries is a Calgary based sheet metal products manufacturing company founded in 1986. We began by manufacturing sheet metal products for residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. Since then we have added resale products and now carry a complete residential package. From the beginning in our 1400 sq. ft. shop, to our now 15,000 sq. ft. facility, we have always striven to provide our customers with quality product and excellent service. At Budrich, we believe in supporting the trade that supports us. Our personnel have served on the board of directors at the Calgary Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal Association (C.A.S.M.A.) and the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Alberta (S.M.C.A.A.) organizations for the past eleven years. We also support our industry through donations to S.A.I.T. Polytechnic, the Skills Canada Competition, and S.M.C.A.A. to name a few. Shane Budvarson (President)
Shane began his sheet metal career in the shop for Melsness Sheet Metal in 1976. Although he has worked in the field installing residential and light commercial systems, he much preferred the shop environment. In 1981 Shane achieved his journeyman status. Shane helped form Budrich Industries in 1986. Since then he has served on the board of directors for the Calgary Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal Association (C.A.S.M.A.) and helped form the current provincial association. Shane has also sat on the board for the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Alberta (S.M.C.A.A.). He continues to oversee operations at Budrich.

Chance Budvarson (Vice-President) chance@budrich.net
In addition to earning Journeyman status as a Sheet Metal Worker in 2010 he has completed some marketing and management courses. Chance currently oversees our payables and administration areas.

Nicole ( Nikky ) Horel (Office Administer) accounting@budrich.net
Nikky earned her Sheet Metal Journeyman status as a Sheet Metal Worker in 2011 and currently works in the office in Administration.

Vic Van Leeuwen (General Manager) vic@budrich.net
Vic’s first introduction to the industry was working in his father’s shop in Edmonton, Alberta. While in Edmonton he gained additional industry knowledge working for Majestic Heating Products and Sinclair Supplies. In 1987, he moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba where he worked for Ecco Heating Products until moving back to Alberta to accept a position with Budrich in January of 1991.

Craig Horel (Shop) craig@budrich.net
Craig earned his Sheet Metal Journeyman status in 2010 has worked in various roles within the company. Craig currently oversees our custom shop.
